50 ft Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Garden Hose - Flexible, No Kink, Collapsible Metal Water Pipe for Lawn Care, Car Washing & Outdoor Cleaning

I ordered a flex/expandable hose about a year ago. I live in northern UT and it freezes in the winter. I garaged the flex hose over the winter and it worked for about a month before breaking in the middle. I'm disappointed it lasted less than a year, but maybe my expectations were unrealistic.Enter the need for this purchase. I ordered it in the afternoon and Prime delivered in the wee hours of the next morning.To start, it metal but light weight. The flex hose spoiled me - I was able to sling and fling that thing quite easily. While the steel hose is less flexible, it's still super light weight and I haven't had to adjust how I water. The included nozzle is great and the flow lever is a nice feature - you can position it where you want and leave it. The hose also stores much more easily on a winding reel vs the flex hose. The flex hose expands when you fill it and it would cinch itself in place if I left it on the reel before turning on the water. This hose expands a small amount, but the metal slides against itself easily so it doesn't get stuck. I was a little worried about the metal in the sun, but it hasn't heated up enough to be uncomfortable to handle bare handed.To finish, I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but it works well so far!
