The hose will kink up on itself when in use. It does not stop the water pressure. As far as maneuverability, when the water is on and the hose does kink up on itself it makes it harder to dragging across the lawn.More than 1 year later and I am still very happy with this purchase. I have purchased 2 other brands 'similar' attributes (lightweight, retractable, 'durable' hoses) very disappointed - 1 sprang a hole2nd summer of use and the other has started to fray (precursor to a leak) less than 2 weeks into its use.The hoses are good but heavier than previous hoses I had bought. When you put 2 together they are too heavy for me to maneuver safely. The nozzles are not so good. After a long watering session my arthritic hands give out. I went to a local Harbor Freight store and bought similar nozzles which had the same features and they are much easier to operate. I had some from previous years and they are still going strong after 3 and 4 years. I was happy to get the black bags and rings to go with the hoses and nozzles. They keep things need and prevented leaks. All in a I'm happy with the purchase.I got this hose for my backyard after adding a 75 foot version to my front yard a few weeks ago. It is nice and lightweight, making it very convenient for most use I have. One issue that I came across is when using it with a sprinkler. Note that when the hose is not full of water, it contracts and doesn't stretch out to where you may need it. There's a valve at the end of the hose that takes care of this problem but note that you may get wet when open the valve if connected to a sprinkler that sends water in multiple direction like many 'whirlybird' sprinklers.Very happy with the purchase, just need to know what sprinkler to use.I liked my first purchase so much that I bought another one. This hose seems very durable, is super lightweight, but it has a feature that many other hoses don't: it has a shut off valve near the nozzle. This is SO handy when you want to switch from a nozzle to a sprinkler head. Instead of shutting off the water, waiting for the hose to drain, switching heads, you can just flip this switch and it shuts off the water - so convenient! My only complaint is the material - it's very fabric-y. So when I use this hose in the front of my house, the fabric gets hung up on my very slightly textured concrete walkway. And I get pullies in the fabric. Minor inconvenience though compared to how nice it is to have that shut off feature.Very lightweight and simple to use...recommend it to anyone that has any disabilities.Works so well. Doesn't kink and it rolls up nicely and compactI tried 3 different brands of flex hoses like this, not even two years ago and only one of the is still in working order. First of all, they are not that long - in order to reach full length they have to be under pressure, as soon as you open the valves at the end the pressure is lost and the hose begins to retract, so they are never long enough. If fact, sometimes it's nice to leave a hose laid out for many days while working on a project, with one of these, every time you turn it off - they retract, and that can just becomes a hassle to roll up and out every time. Second, they are very easy to break, you can't leave them under pressure for extended periods of time - they simply won't last, period. Now, I could see a use in a small garden setting where you aren't going very far and everything is real close, and you have a routine of watering then returning the hose every time, but for any other application they just aren't durable enough.La manguera llego muy bien empacada , como es de tela se jala fácilmente , se necesita mucha presión de agua para que logre estirarse , me sirve como una manguera convencional , tuve una manguera que con la presión que tengo si se estiraba muy bien , pero este no es el caso , en cuanto a la resistencia espero me dure mucho tiempo! GraciasThis is one of the better made expandable hoses. The brass fittings are sturdy and it comes with a hose head and a siamese coupling so that you can attach two hoses to one faucet if needed. I purchase at least 3-4 of these type of hoses a year as I have a large yard and I am tough on them. For the average person you should get 2 or 3 years before you have to replace one. They are light weight and don't take the punishment of a regular rubber hose. But for the price, the manoeuvrability is well worth it.Es muy buen producto y muy util. It’s actually a great deal since it comes with a splitter, hose attachment and something to hang the hose on, as well as a bag for storing over the winter. As described, it’s light weight and when the water is turned on it expands to 100 ft. The splitter has a knob that allows you to shut the water off or turn it on so you can control which hose(s) are turned on. I hope it will last for years.This product is garbage take my word for it I’m in construction I know every product on the planet I was hoping this would work for home they put a brass fitting to turn it on and off and some stupid plastic fitting that attaches to the house which is week in the house itself burst this is all within two weeks do you want something to last don’t buy this I could put photos I don’t wanna waste anymore time
