The hose is quite helpful I have used it for both beded plants as well as to address my fruit trees and other newly planted shrubs that are being adversely impacted by the hot Texas Sun. The curls in the hose are sometime frustrating and difficult to manage until the house is stretched out and becomes more manageable. I would advise people to stretch out the hose prior to attempting to put it around plants are use it in the garden areas to let the curls abate and to run water through it to be sure that all works well.Had a small space in my yard that I needed a soaker hose in but did not want to buy the large kit to make a short hose. Prefect for what I needed.My mom is over 80 years old and an avid gardener. I bought this so she could run it through her garden and get the water in the ground more efficiently than traditional sprinklers. It's lightweight and easy to handle.Better than the ones localIt seems cheap not a good value for the price and the clamps that hold it on or just plain old hose clamps not very well put togetherI installed the soaker hose in my backyard to take care the plants , it works good so far . I set up 2 hoses to two different vegetable areas and both of them can water the plants evenly , The soaker hose is the best for soils with a mix of soil and sand .it saves water and keeps the soil moisture ,it also helps me save watering time . The material looks more durable than others , hopefully it lasts long even under the sun. I am really happy with this product .Perfect size for planter box. I am able to just turn on facet to water plants daily. I will purchase again. like being able to get this shorter soaker to fit in my area.This is a 10 foot, 1/2 inch soaker hose. I thought this was the right size. Not look enough and not thick enough. Does not bend easily making not very useful. It is now headed to my garbage can and I will go to Lowe’s to pick one out in person. The disadvantage of shopping online!This is wonderful and easy to use with rain barrels. Excellent value
