This is a super high-quality product that I had to re-order because the first one came dented but they did replace it with a quality hose reel the only recommendation I’ve got for the company is that they sent a paper template for mounting the four brackets that are required as it’s a little tricky if you don’t use a level and you don’t create a template!This reel holds 100’ and is easy to roll up the hoseThis is a fairly heavy duty unit and I like it (so much that I bought three of them). I have a large saltwater pool and everything outside rusts so I wanted stainless and it is other that the mounts which are painted.The drawbacks as pointed out by other reviewers are:The angle of the connector is such that you can't get a newer aluminum hose end in there, so you need to buy some 90 degree adapters. The other reason you need the adapter is that even if you get the hose on it will undo itself and start leaking after you unwind the hose. Possibly a more flexible hose might work but I just used a 90 degree adapter. All of the rubber grommets are put on one of the supports whereas you actually need two on each. I stripped out the hex head bolts trying to undo it to get them off and wound up just cutting two off and putting them on the other support rod.Despite all of this it seem to be better than anything else I have seen and it includes nearly everything you need and it is already assembled. The top shelf is very useful. I used lead anchors in my brick as the included plastic anchors looked fairly flimsy. The three I bought have replaced the plastic ones that only last a few years before cracking and leaking.Pros-Does not leak under fairly high water pressureIncludes several extra rubber gaskets for a good seal.2 packs of Teflon tape includedLooks very sleek for a garden hose.Actually pretty affordable when it comes to buying a hose and reel.Fairly sturdy.Cons-There was a small dent on mine right out of the box, I don't mind though.There are four rubber sleeves that are supposed to be split between 2rods (2 rubber sleeves per rod). They were all 4 on one rod(as shown in the picture), I tried to take off the rod to remove 2 sleeves but it seems it was screwed on using a threadlock, I just cut 2 of the rubber sleeves off and placed them on the other rod, again, not a big deal.1 of the 8 screw's head snapped off when installing a hanger, probably my fault, but they could easily pack an extra screw or send thicker screws.Love this product. Nice quality, looks great. We purchased for the hose on our boat dock so we floor mounted it instead of wall. It is great, hope it lasts as long as it should. RecommendI am disappointed in my new hose reel from Morvat. It arrived with the four black rubber grips for the installation brackets all located on the top support bar. It was supposed to have two grips on each of the two support bars. These grips are used under the brackets that attach the hose reel to the wall. This shows the product was assembled carelessly, then underwent a careless inspection, then was shipped out. For a pricey product such as this, I expected it to arrive with all parts in excellent working order. Morvat's suggestion was to cut off the top two grips from the top bar and try my best to apply them to the bottom bar, or to simply ignore the lack of rubber grips on the bottom bar. I haven't decided if I will keep it or not.Very sturdy and huge upgrade to my old standard garden hoseVery good construction and sturdy but the connection for the house to the real, it is impossible to get the hose on the drum. I guess if you purchased the SS hoses it will be okay, as the dia of the drum is small.Très solide et bien construit tout en restant dans la simplicité...Plusieurs accessoires, tuyaux d'alimentation en métal, Quick connect, seal de remplacement, roulette de Téflon, ect.Fonctionne bien avec un tuyaux régulier mais vous devez utiliser un Quick connect car le tuyaux est porté à ce dévisser. J'ai 100 pieds de tuyaux dans le dévidoir de 150pi et ça rentre parfaitement.very solid unit however, mine leaked out of the box inside the reel and the hose is only 3/8" so it has very low pressure.Good potential as it is very sturdy. just needs better quality control and a larger diameter hose.It looks pretty high quality but only disappointment is that it came damaged
