The highly affordable price on this set of two hose nozzles (to replace two others I had which were leaking badly)- something like $9.97- plus the lukewarm to less than glowing reviews I read made me skeptical of this purchase at first. However, it being past the half-way mark of the watering season, I was not prepared to spend much more.Once I received the nozzles (within, if I recall correctly, less than one day)- again, I took out one of them and connected it to my water hose. I was absolutely amazed at the powerful flow of water from the nozzle, working each pattern (I tend to use the shower setting a lot) perfectly. The brass connector attached without any leak whatsoever, and the trigger felt very tight and crisp- nothing felt loose.I have now used both nozzles (front and back yard), and so far they have performed exceptionally well.If these nozzles serve their purpose this well just for one season, I would consider the $10 they cost me rather well spent.I would highly recommend this product- a great combination of price, functionality and overall quality.These are like any of the plastic spray nozzles, they break and leak the first day unless you treat it like a light bulb. Can't do that so I will not buy plastic again. They are pretty though.Updated review. Wow! Thank you for the replacement nozzles. They are great quality and you have gone above and beyond to replace the one broken plastic nozzle. The new ones are the best quality nozzles that I own now. The good - several patterns, easy to hold and engage the lock so you don't have to keep pulling the trigger. Extra washers are provided. The bad - they are made mostly of plastic, including the connection. I've had no problems with leakage, but I worry about stripping the threads on the nozzle. The shower pattern sprays much stronger than other nozzles I've had - not as many holes and it's harder to water anything very gently with that pattern. But that also allows you to water things at a greater distance, if that's important to you. If you want a very gentle shower pattern, I wouldn't recommend these. I suppose you can pull the trigger 1/4 or 1/2 and direct the spray upward so it falls down more gently or use the mist setting, but that's not ideal. I'll keep and use these since I don't need to do any very gentle watering, but I wish the shower setting was better.I ordered two of these to try. So happy with them that I placed a second order to replace my other hose nozzles. What my wife, the gardener, really likes is the small diameter of the rain shower.
